I was preparing for my daily chanting hymns and mantras (मंत्र) as usual, after taking a bath।
By my side, my little daughter Anvesha was counting from 1 to 100 in Hindi in a very dedicated manner.
I was losing my concentration.
Honestly, I felt like scolding her hard unlike my nature and personality:
"Just stop... let me complete my hymns and live in peace!"And to be honest, I did scold him from within.
But then I stopped for a second and thought...If I gave her a scolding, she would understand that learning new things was less important than prayers and mantras.
And this thought would stick in her mind for the rest of her life.Instead, I greeted her with a smile.
And then the puja was done with contemplation.
And the countdown continued.
The moral of this story is simple:
Learning should never stop.
We all need to keep learning new things.
Because no one can be perfect.
And those who have a passion for learning are the ones who move ahead in life.
